| Inside Hogwarts |
| Dungeons (2 sub-boards)
Trust me, these are not the nicest of places. Although as your first glimpse of the inside of the ancient historical school is full of bright lit up candles, walls with portaits on them, you think to yourself, everywhere must be like this. Well, look to the direction of the stairs heading downwards, and you shall see the Dungeons. The advice to newcomers from many fellow Gryffindors and the like would tell you to stay away unless you want the Slytherins to prowl after you.

| Ground Floor (1 sub-board)
First impressions and all that. This is your first real glimpse of the inside of the castle. The many rooms going off in different directions and the point glasses by the walls; the moving portraits greeting students as they arrive and the secret passageways for those who can find them, the first glance of the magical insides of Hogwarts can make your head spin.

This is not exactly the best floor in the world though it does have a few nifty paintings that follow your every footstep. There is also the Transfiguration classes that take place here, as well as some exam and study rooms for those students who really find the Library a bit hell like. As I said, nothing too special, but it is worth having a poke around to check for some shortcuts.

| Second Floor (3 sub-boards)
The only famous thing about this floor is said Moaning Myrtle's Bathroom, and even she isn't one to play happy families. There is also a snazzy empty classroom here, for all your...errm..needs. And to add to those amazingly interesting details, you can enjoy the pleasures of the Prefect's bathroom, if you can get your hands on the password.

| Third Floor (3 sub-boards)
You have to know that this is the all-mighty forbidden corridor floor. All sorts of things are in there, so keep out unless you want to get stalked by wheezy Mr. Filch and his pet cat. We also have a nice charms class on the same floor, spiffy. Apart from that, nothing much really, as this floor is perhaps just as boring as the first.

| Fourth Floor (4 sub-boards)
A lot goes on in this corridor. Anyone who wants to study may come to this floor for the very handy and oftenly used library. And in the case of emergancies, here lies the hospital wing for your every need, along with a rather boring history of magic classroom, and the very famous DADA subject.

| Fifth Floor (3 sub-boards)
Apart from the Ancient Runes classroom, and the Hufflepuff Common Room, this is a kinda a get-out-if-you're-not-a-special-person floor. Prefect bathrooms, lounge. So basically, unless you apply to one of those special places, there is nothing much for you to really do here.

| Sixth Floor (3 sub-boards)
Now this is a very interesting floor to be on. There is plenty going on around here for you to get involved with. First, there is the Trophy room, which is full of all those shiny things that make the school so special, the Arithmancy class, and then the Ravenclaw Common Room. Lots and lots of things happening.

| Seventh Floor (3 sub-boards)
You cannot deny that this floor has just about all the coolest stuff there. The Room of Requirement is just about as nifty as you can get; and then there is the famous broom cupboard, and a few hidden shortcuts in the walls, and let us not forget the Gryffindor Common Room. You can get quite lost here, but if you know your way around you're bound to be a happy student, isn't that nice?

| Courtyard
Most students come out here and chat, play in the fountain, and watch the clock tower chime. There are little things to do here, unless you're a total nature freak and love plants, then things are super awesome for you here.

| The Forbidden Forest
The Forbidden Forest was east of Hogwarts castle and had thick groves of trees, brooks, clearings, and wide paths with dense vegetation on both sides of the paths; the forest was forbidden to all Hogwarts students, except for detentions with Hagrid or the occasional Care of Magical Creatures lesson; many dangerous creatures lived in the forest, some of whom ate humans.

| The Great Lake
A large lake that is south of the Hogwarts castle; the first-year students were carried across the lake in small boats; the Durmstrang group arrived on a ship that arose out of the depths of the lake and glided to the shore; the second task of the Triwizard Tournament took place in the lake; several magical creatures lived in the lake, including grindylows; merpeople, and a giant squid; occasionally ghosts appeared in the lake.

A magical plant; it is a large, violent tree that attacks anyone who get's near it; it was planted the year that Remus Lupin came to Hogwarts.

This shop sells and repairs magical equipment, such as Sneakoscopes. It is located at the end of the High Street on the road leading to the edge of Hogsmeade--near where Harry and his friends met Sirius, in the form of Padfoot, before the Third Task.

| Hog's Head
The Hog's Head sits at the end of a side street, marked by a sign depicting a boar's head dripping blood onto a white cloth. When the wind blows, the sign squeaks on its rusted bracket. The inn has only one room for the bar. Dirt is packed over the stone floor and hardly any sunshine filters through the filthy bay windows. The room is dimly lit by candle stumps on each wooden table. A goaty odor permeates the whole place. As the glasses and bottles are very dirty, and "cleaned" with very dirty rags, some patrons will bring their own beverage receptacles.

| Honeydukes
The sweetshop Honeydukes is nearly everyone's favourite--even Percy deems it worth a visit. Located on the High Street of Hogsmeade, it also can be reached by secret passage from Hogwarts. The passage begins at the one-eyed witch statue in the middle of the third-floor hallway. At the word "Dissendium," the hump on her back opens to reveal a tunnel. The underground passage ends with a trapdoor into Honeydukes' cellar, where extra crates of candy are kept.

| Madam Puddifoot's
This tea shop is popular with young couples on Hogsmeade weekends. A small shop located on a side street, it tends to be a bit stuffy inside due to the crowds. The windows steam up and the gaudy tables and chairs are all claimed by teenagers holding hands or kissing over cups of tea and coffee. A bell over the door announces customers; the round tables are decorated with lacy napkins and (undoubtedly flowered) china sugar bowls. Cho lures an unsuspecting Harry in on their ill-fated Valentine's Day trip to Hogsmeade.

| The Three Broomsticks
A more popular inn than the Hog's Head, the Three Broomsticks sits on the High Street. It is often warm, crowded, and a bit smoky—but clean and welcoming. A mirror behind the bar reflects the cosy atmosphere, and drinks are served in glasses and in pewter tankards. Madam Rosmerta, the pretty and stylish owner, has been at the Three Broomsticks for at least twenty years, since Harry's father was a Hogwarts student. Harry and his friends enjoy drinking butterbeers at the inn, where they frequently encounter Hagrid as well. On less fortunate occasions they've met Rita Skeeter there, 'cause everyone loves the Three Broomsticks.

| Zonko's Joke Shop
This is Fred and George Weasley's favourite shop, of course--and Filch's least favourite. Zonko's is another High Street shop--a purveyor of Dungbombs, Stink Pellets, Belch Powder, Hiccup Sweets, Whizzing Worms, Frog Spawn Soap, Nose-Biting Teacups, and Fanged Frisbees.

| 12 Grimmauld Place
The Noble and Most Ancient House of Black is hidden between numbers eleven and thirteen on Grimmauld Place, London, a twenty minutes' walk from the King's Cross railway station. The street has a small square nearby. It's not an idyllic area of the city; the neighboring houses are in disrepair and their inhabitants play loud music and leave their rubbish to rot. Number Twelve itself had not been well cared for from the time Mrs. Black had died until the anti-Voldemort organization the Order of the Phoenix claimed it as their headquarters in the summer of 1995. After the Order moved in, the house was put under the Fidelius Charm. As Albus Dumbledore was the Secret Keeper, he had to notify any visitors as to the House's location. Once this notification took place, the house would appear bit by bit in front of the seeker; first a worn door and then some filthy walls and windows, all of which appear to shove the two neighboring houses aside. Now that Dumbledore is dead, it is unsure whether the Fidelius Charm is still in place or not. As a matter of protection, the Order moved out of Number Twelve, at least temporarily, in the summer of 1996.
As for the House itself, stone steps lead to a scruffy black door garnished with nothing but a knocker shaped like a coiled snake (doorknobs inside the house are similarly formed). There is a doorbell beside the door, but it is better left unused. A wand tap from the outside will unlock all the latches and chains within. Once inside, the long entrance hall smells of decay and is lit only by gas lamps on the walls. A chandelier and table-top candelabra, both serpent-shaped, go unused. The wallpaper is peeling, the grimy portraits are crooked on their perches, the carpet is worn, and cobwebs are strewn over everything. The hallway also features an umbrella stand made of a troll's leg, and a curtained portrait of Sirius Black's late mother, the second most recent resident of the house. When awakened by noise, the curtains around her portrait fly open and she begins screaming insults at Order members, setting off the other pictures in the hall as well.

Located in Wiltshire, in the south of England, Malfoy Manor is a large and opulent house which has belonged for generations to one of the oldest aristocratic wizarding families in Britain. The Malfoys' wealth and influence is infamous, as is their pureblood mania and fascination for the Dark Arts. As such, Malfoy Manor contains a number of Dark Artifacts.

| St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries
St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries is the wizarding hospital located in the heart of Muggle London, England. Patients go to St. Mungo's for a wide variety of reasons, ranging from common illnesses like dragon pox to more complicated ailments like spell damage and werewolf bites. Like all aspects of the wizarding world, St. Mungo's is hidden in plain site, disguised as a dilapidated, red-brick department store that Muggles see but largely ignore. Wizards or witches who are unable to reach St. Mungo's by magical transportation can enter through Purge and Dowse, Ltd. To Muggles, Purge and Dowse, Ltd. is nothing more than a rundown, old-fashioned department store that is always closed for refurbishment.

| The Burrow
The Burrow, home of the Weasley family, is a towering, crooked cottage just outside the village of Ottery St. Catchpole (in Devon, England). It is several stories high with four or five chimneys, and is most likely held up by magic (indeed, it is magically concealed from the Muggles in the village nearby). The entrance to the house is announced by a lopsided sign and surrounded by a jumble of Wellington boots and several chickens who live in the front yard.

| The Riddle House
The Riddle House was a fine mansion that was allowed to fall into disrepair after years of neglect. Located on a hill overlooking the village of Little Hangleton, the Riddle House was once owned by elderly Mr. and Mrs. Riddle and their grown son Tom. In the days when the Riddles had lived there, the house was easily the largest and most impressive manor around. The Riddles employed maids, housekeepers, and a gardener by the name of Frank Bryce to keep after the grounds. Frank lived in a small, rundown cottage on the grounds of the Riddle Estate.

Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes is the joke shop owned and operated by Fred and George Weasley. Initially a mail-order business, Fred and George began seriously preparing for their joke shop in the summer of 1994. Their mother, at the time believing joke shop ownership an unsuitable career path for two of her sons, destroyed as many of their joke products as she could find. Operating in secret, Fred and George managed to continue devising joke items (despite their mother’s disapproval) and market those items to the students of Hogwarts.
